at Two Historic Buildings
Date: Monday, April 11, 2022
6:00 - 10:00 PM
Locations: 500 Briggs Street, Erie (exact meeting location upon reservation)
Join psychic medium Dori Spence and the Kindred Spirits Investigative Team for a night of connecting and communicating with the spirits inhabiting two adjacent buildings in downtown Erie!
The first building was built in 1889 as the IOOF (Independent Order of Odd Fellows) Lodge, which also served as the Lockwood Trading Company in 1900 and the State Mercantile Company on the lower level.
The building that shares a wall with the IOOF Hall to the North which the Mine Co now also owns, was built or attached in 1892 and was the Winslow Smith Mercantile Company. In 1893 this became Erie's first drug store called "Elzi Drugstore", and remained so until the original owner died in 1972.
Now The Mine Company, a large passageway was created to join the two businesses which created a dining area accessible to both buildings. This building is now an ice cream parlor.
Owners of this building have reported strange happenings and have asked the KSS Investigative Team if they would host a small group of people to explore the paranormal activity in the building and report their findings. So, this investigation is open to Kindred Spirits Society Members only.
